What is the big complication? Is prostituting any ;ess demeaning than some other “typical” women’s roles, from cleaning all the way to executive assistant? Perhaps with legalization will come a greater status to prostitution, and some bargaining power on the partt of sex workers? Clearly, there is something else at play why society resists this, and this goes for the political left as wll as thr right. I wonder what that is.

That’s like here in Massachusetts. They only decriminalized marijuana, so there’s only a fine if you get caught with an ounce or less. It may be a matter of “punishment fitting the crime”, but it doesn’t solve the problem at all.
