Well there is Different types of hardhouse, Uk Hardhouse and U.S.Hardhouse,plus other styles aswell of hardhouse.

My last comment was actually a p!ss take. Can anyone imagine if a hard house track dare start without 16 bars of a kick drum or something off beat? What’s the point in making more hard house tracks? u may as well just pick any one of the tunes and loop it. Drum machines, synths and samplers were created to remove limitations to music, at some point the hard house scene might just realise that and then claim they created techno like they did with their ‘electro’ house genre!

He was counting the bars, not the beats. They are different.
You can count bars via counting with the beats up to four. (I may be wrong)
1,2,3,4 bar 1
1,2,3,4 bar 2 and so on.
i know hard house has become much broader than what it used to be, but it does not sound anything like this. ive never heard of data releasing a hard house track, and ive been listening to hard dance religiously for at least 10 years! however, name technicalities aside, it was a good video with good info

Then towards the end of the vid he says theres a part where theres `not much going on` hmmm well thats funny cause i can hear a Kick, 2 open hats, a closed hat, a clap, a snare, a lead synth, another lead synth, a bassline, an arpeggio, a vocal, not to mention reverb, delay, BBE sonic maximizer, compression, EQ etc etc etc. And guess what dumbass this NOT Hard House or Euro House this is Commercial Trance.
This guy hasnt got a fucking clue if he thinks Trance is an EASY style of music, but thats probably because of the cheesy wank he listens too, and no key changes? there are many tracks which contain a multitude of extremely advance key changes. Not only that but many tracks have extremely differant and varied structure. ‘Close your eyes and imagine the crowd thinking yeah I like that sound’ YOU COCKSHUFFLER!

i don’t believe the future of dance music lies in the standard 8 bars beat stopping typical structured format it stinks and has been done to death and is only done for ease of churning out tracks as fast as possible and unfortunately is taught as the correct method of music creation
there should be no right and wrong this is rave and should never have been tamed
